You will enjoy the magnificent landscape of the Val d'Orcia, in the Tuscan hills, which was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2004.

Val d'Orcia, expression of wonderful natural features and union of art and landscape, geographical space and ecosystem, is also the result and testimony of the people who lived there.
According to UNESCO, this valley is an admirable example of how the natural landscape was remodeled in the Renaissance by embracing the ideals of "good governance" (XIV and XV century) peculiar to the Italian city-state, whose wonderful places were celebrated by painters of the Sienese School, which flourished between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries.

The tour begins with a visit to a wine cellar in Montalcino

here you will taste a sampling of wines produced with a delicious snack consisting of local products. In the afternoon, one of our brilliant tour leaders will show you around Montalcino, where you will visit the typical village and its fortress.

Then you will visit Pienza and Montepulciano, two artistic jewels, representing the landscape of Val d’Orcia

Pienza is a perfect combination of architectural beauty and harmony. Most of the numerous lanes bearing impressive names, overlook the breathtaking landscape of Val d’Orcia. Unique tastes, smells and flavors support this natural and artistic heritage. Pienza’s most renowned tradition is in fact the typical Pecorino cheese.

The tour ends with a visit to Montepulciano, where the stateliness of its Renaissance buildings and the refined beauty of its churches are intertwined with the ancient tradition of its wine, Nobile di Montepulciano. This wine is a symbol of the city, as well as a delight for your palate.
