A Gallery full of precious treasures, impossible not to be enchanted by the works that have made this museum one of the most visited in the world!
You will find beautiful frescoed ceilings, a multitude of rooms full of statues and priceless paintings.
The monumental construction began in 1560 by Giorgio Vasari, in order to host functional spaces for the Arts headquarters, the Grascia Officers, the Officers of Honesty and the Grand Ducal Manufactures reserved for "employees" and to a select few guests of the de Medici family.

The idea of bringing to this space an artistic note triumphed thanks to the patron Francesco I de Medici, with the "Tribuna", a sort of octagonal casket that could contain cameos, coins, armor, sculptures and paintings.

Today, however, the masterpieces exhibited in the Uffizi Gallery are many others:
Famous artists are Duccio, Giotto, Cimabue, Paolo Uccello etc... but the wonder will open to your eyes in the rooms dedicated to the fifteenth century: citing, for example, the beauty of Lippina, masterpiece of the painter and friar Frà Filippo Lippi, or otherwise the extraordinary works of Sandro Botticelli, or the Birth of Venus and the Allegory of Spring.

Then you can admire the only autograph painting by Leonardo, a splendid Annunciation from the youth of the undisputed Tuscan genius.

The corridor on the first floor closes with a collection of Hellenistic statues, through the rooms of the Mannerist painters, Bronzino, Raphael and the new rooms dedicated to Correggio, Titian and Parmigianino.
