An enjoyable ride on a vintage style Vespa along the Tuscan countryside, taking in all the landscapes and sounds of nature!

A classic, an icon, it shaped Italy’s post-World War II pop culture, starring in one of the world’s favorite films and defining the Bel Paese in both image and reality. It is nothing if not an international symbol of Made in Italy style and design.

The "Vespa" is Born. In the spring of 1946, this light, intrinsically glamorous two-wheeler was introduced to the public. A relatively-affordable means of transport, it was targeted at young professionals and women, who could now ride while wearing a skirt, and without having to worry about the messiness of dirt, mud and oil.

Cinema contributes to its definitive success.

The Vespa became the symbol of post-war Italy in a few years and appeared in many films.

In particular in William Wyler's 'Roman Holiday', with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck crossing the capital on an unforgettable white Vespa, it was transformed in 1953 into a real advertising spot for the manufacturer.

No experience required – beginners are welcome! A unique chance to experience CHIANTI from a different point of view. Our minibus will take you into the Chianti countryside, where you can enjoy the breeze and breathtaking places all around you. The first part of this gorgeous activity is an ORIENTATION SESSION led by our English-speaking trainer, ensuring the safe operation of the Vespas before we start our enjoyable ride.

DRIVING TEST: It takes place in an enclosed space to check if everyone has enough confidence and safety on the Vespa to drive on open roads. The ride along our scenic countryside takes you into the middle of vineyards, olive trees and Medieval highlights, stopping of course for photos during the tour. You will visit a famous winery, producing the world renowned Chianti red wine, visiting its fascinating cellars and learning about wine production.

The Vespa ride will end at a smaller boutique winery, where you will be offered a typical Tuscan meal accompanied by a wine tasting of fine local wines, as well as an olive oil tasting.
