An exclusive and exciting opportunity in direct contact with the history, the distinct Sienese society and the philosophy of life of the Contrada and the most celebrated Palio. We will explain to you the passion, the ancient tradition and the spirit that animates the most illustrious and beloved Palio in the world, and we will do this by being entirely voluntary and free- this is what has marked the spirit and philosophy of the Contradas for centuries. Visitors are invited to pay respect to the places that will host us, which include the Museum and the Church of the Contrada!
We will continue our walk through the city in a world of the most authentic Sienese tradition, spoiling ourselves a little with a tasting of Panforte and Ricciarelli, typical local sweets accompanied by coffee, cappuccino and a glass of liqueur wine- Vin Santo del Chianti. The products that will be offered to us are the result of high quality craftsmanship that has existed for generations and are renowned throughout the world!
This will take place in the best historic Siena pastry shop, Pasticceria Nannini, still owned by the family of singer Gianna Nannini! Finally, our guide will take you through the two most famous squares of Siena, Piazza del Campo and Piazza del Duomo, to offer some suggestions on the hidden corners from which you can take the best photos or just simply take in the historical-artistic atmosphere of the city.
