By booking our fascinating tour, you will have access to some of Florence's most precious monuments in just one day: the Uffizi Gallery, the Vasari Corridor (passing over the Ponte Vecchio)... in addition, the many treasures each one holds!
The Corridor has been closed to the general public due to safety concerns since 2016, but has now been re-opened for viewing.
You do not want to miss this exclusive tour that explores so many of the wonders Florence has to offer!
The famous Corridor was constructed for the Grand Duke of Tuscany by Giorgio Vasari in 1565 and was completed in just 5 months. It extends for over a kilometer (nearly 1 mile), all the way from Palazzo Vecchio to Pitti Palace across the Arno River. The passageway itself was created in order for the Grand Duke Cosimo I de Medici to move between the palaces away from the eyes of the public.
Experience the breathtaking views of Florence from this unique structure.
Before entering the Vasari Corridor, a visit to the Uffizi Gallery is a must, offering a journey through paintings from the Middle Ages to the eighteenth century, with exhibitions mainly focused on the Florentine and Tuscan Renaissance. Some of the most prominent works of the Gallery are the Venus and the Spring by Sandro Botticelli, the Tondo Doni by Michelangelo, the Annunciation by Leonardo da Vinci, and the Venus of Urbino by Titian. Here, one can also find the Diptych of the Dukes of Urbino by Piero della Francesca and the Medusa and the Bacchus by Caravaggio.
